Generates good revenue for the city. Has great contribution economically and financially. Helps in social and infrastructural development of the city. Disadvantages The air space, i.e. the flying area always remains packed and congested. The management of air traffic and control becomes a very tiring process. Results in segregation of market. Makes the operating costs high per passenger due to segregation. Congested ground access and results in poor connectivity amongst the airports.
